Greetings in the name of our Lord & Savior!

Our theme for 2016 assures us that“we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” throughout this New Year.

My brothers and sisters, to be more than conquerors means to face the trials of life with certainty that we are not alone. We have an everlasting Father who fights for us. When we face the darkest health concerns, or growing old and feeble, we still have confidence knowing that nothing can happen to us that is not permitted by our loving Father for our good—Romans 8:28.

Paul lets us know that we are still winners. This knowledge will keep us going in life when all seems hopeless. My brothers and sisters, we sometimes act as if our circumstances and opposition are too overwhelming for us to be victorious. Our victory stems out of the fact that God loves us. Victory in life comes through Christ’s strength displayed in us.

I pray that as we pass through our trials and tribulations in 2016, that God will strengthen all our members, friends, and visitors with power through His spirit throughout the New Year.

WELCOME TO GPBC

Greater Providence Baptist Church is a Christ Centered family focusing on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through love, humility and repentance. We teach the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter. All sinners are welcome!

People are looking! Looking for God, looking for supportive relationships with others who love and care for them. This is the thrust of our ministry within Greater Providence; finding those who are looking for God and keeping those who are looking for relationships.
